Evinrude E-tec

We consider the Evinrude E-tec to be the most advanced outboard engine available today. Voted Engine of the Year by Motor Boats Monthly when the first models were introduced, the range is now complete from 40hp to the mighty 250hp V6, with a planned development of further models down to 10hp within two years.

The initial design brief was to produce an engine that was easy to own and operate, with the emphasis on durability, low service costs, low fuel consumption, low noise levels and the well known benefits of power to weight ratio and acceleration associated with 2 cycle technology.

In the past two years it has exceeded all expectations with a higher degree of customer satisfaction than we ever dreamt of. A summary of the most popular features is as follows:

Since 1922 Johnson have been guided by a simple, rugged philosophy and today are still marketing the toughest outboards around.

They offer a range of engines from 2.5hp to 25hp in two stroke and four stroke technology.

Service and spare parts

We recommend that all outboards are serviced at the end of every year or every 100 hours as soon as you have finished using it. This coincides with our quietest period when we can give you our best attention. Even the E-tec will benefit from a small check-over at that time.
